After leaving Prescott in the afternoon, we travelled a few hours to Osage City, where we arrived at Flint Hill Baptist Church. They had the church all set up for their Vacation Bible School this week and since we were so early, we volunteered to color the dinosuar mural they had on the wall of the audiorium. The kids really enjoyed watching us and giving us advice on which colors to use.
The evening service went very well and they had what they call a "linger-longer" afterwards (with food, of course) and it was so nice to get to know the people a little more. We are staying here for two more days to help with their VBS, so do pray that it goes well and that we will get to influence many kids before we move on.

Our family would like to thank the Rocky Mountains team for coming out to Flint Hills Baptist Church this week (June 1-4, 2008). The help with VBS was wonderful! The singing and ministering that ya'll did was wonderful also! Thank you all.
We were blessed to have two ladies come and stay at our house during this duration, Hannah and Keann. They were very enjoyable to get to know. They were wonderful with our kids and the kids loved them as much as my husband and I. I was able to even get to talk to Hannah's mom on the phone after the tornado warnings that were all around us on Monday night. We were lucky to not have anything at our place. I finally figured out that Hannah and her mom's word for sirens (sounded to me like they said sigh-reens) was not "sardines" but they said "sigh-reens". :) We had a wonderful time! God Bless You all while you are traveling, and we will continue to pray for you safety.
Mr. and Mrs. Dustman are wonderful sponsers. We did not get to know them very well, but what little we know, know that they are wonderful people. This couple is very personable. God has used you all in a wonderful way.
As for Rachael and Briann, we did not get to know you all that well either. However, the kids did, and loved you. So if the kids thought that of you, then we can trust them and know that you two were also wonderful.
